Morgan Short

Hailing from Inver Grove Heights, MN, Morgan Short is a 25 year old emerging poet and writer. With a degree in Journalism - Strategic Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Morgan has always been interested in telling stories, whether it be through journalism, marketing, short stories or poetry. Lifting a pen means inviting others into her world and exploring ways she can step into the worlds of others. Born with a condition called hemihypertrophy, much of her writing is inspired by her struggle with body image. Morgan’s guiding forces in her life are her parents, Jodi and Will and her younger siblings, Jake and Taylor.
